A bit about us
Wild Things provides adventurous outdoor activities to meet older girl's capabilities, build teamwork skills, and increase their self-confidence. Activities are tailored to girls age 12-17, in grades 6-12. Members participate in rock climbing, rappelling, whitewater rafting, tubing, archery, canoeing, bicycle camping, hiking, paddleboarding, backpacking and other similar activities. Wild Things members may be active in regular Girl Scout troops as well as individually registered girls. As a group, the girls brainstorm, research and vote on high adventure activities each year. Trips and activities take place on weekends, school breaks and summer months. As Wild Things events are planned, they will be posted on this site for information and registration.
